In accordance with Oregon State Law, Palatine Hill Water District is governed by a 5-member Board of Commissioners. Commissioners are elected from the district at-large to each of the five seats during the Special District elections held in May, and serve 4-year terms of office. If there is a vacancy on the board in between elections, the remaining members will appoint a replacement to serve out the term of office for that seat. The board holds a regular meeting on the third Thursday morning of each month to discuss district business and policies and to approve and pay bills. The annual budget is approved after a public hearing in May. Special meetings can also be held for important issues if the need arises. All members of the public are welcome to attend a board meeting to ask questions or raise an issue with the board. If you plan to attend a meeting, please contact us to confirm time and location.
Palatine Hill Water District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Palatine Hill Water District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
If you need any special assistance or accommodations:
Palatine Hill Water District has designated a compliance officer for website disability-related accommodations.
The compliance officer has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best
practices. Contact our accessibility officer to report an issue.
Compliance Procedures and Reports
In addition to testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards,
Palatine Hill Water District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely
changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
